But that’s what made this project stand out from any other I’d worked on. Once I was able to communicate the core ideas of the script to each department, magic happened. There were times I felt that I could step away as a director and each department - art, camera, production, G&E, special effects, sound - could step in and continue the story’s vision. This would’ve been impossible without building those clear communication lines.
